Awash FallsIn the morning drive to Awash National Park which is found 221Km south east of Addis Ababa. The park is represented by the Beisa Oryx. It is also the first legally established (Gazetted) National park in Ethiopia in 1960 and its total surface area is 760 square Km. Here we can find wild animals like Beisa Oryx, Greater and Lesser Kudu, Soemmerings’ Gazelle, Crocodiles, Common and Hammadryas Baboons and Lions. Panoramic views of Lake WonchiWonchi Crater Lake is found in the Western part of Ethiopia. It is 136 km from Addis Ababa and 36 Km from Ambo Town. To go to Wonchi, we pass the towns of Menegasha—Holeta—Addis Alem—and Ambo. Lake Wonchi is one of the Crater Lakes in Ethiopia with a maximum depth of 78 m.
